Julia & Chris’s #UshFest was hands down, our most colorful, creative wedding we’ve ever had. I mean, there was a bounce house for crying out loud! It was also our very first cannabis wedding! From the get-go, Julia and Chris described themselves as “super weird,” and they wanted their wedding to showcase all the best parts of that! The Town of Harmony created the perfect funky-meets-quaint backdrop for everything on their wedding wishlist. All 120 of their guests enjoyed the glow stick bar, the flash tattoo station, the light-up pool noodles, delicious cookies from Sugar Lab Bake Shop, the cannabis treats, and obviously the bounce house! And needless to say, the roasted pig and taco stations from Flora & Fauna were both huge hits. What’s more, the couple specifically requested that their vendors dress in onesies while working the wedding! The funniest moment of the whole wedding, though, was when Julia attached a Smirnoff Ice to her garter, so when Chris went to get it, he was iced in front of the whole wedding! And THEN all of the bridesmaids emerged from the crowd and iced all the groomsmen! As the planners, designers, and coordinators for this wedding, we really got to fully embrace the “weirdness” of this wedding with every decision we made. And it was truthfully the perfect way to end our 2018 season.
