Anthea & Christian’s wedding was definitely one of our favorites from 2019! We had been working with this couple for their whole planning process, from designing their invitations (Thanks Julia!) to folding napkins on the big day! Funny story about Anthea & Christian, they were actually introduced by one of our 2018 grooms, Chris Ushler! (If you don’t remember, HME did a FANTASTIC festival-themed wedding in October of 2018 in the Town of Harmony). So we had a great time reuniting with this fun-loving couple while celebrating the two people they brought together! We’ve got some pictures with them below, scroll down to check them out!
This wedding’s theme was “colorful bohemian,” as is shown in the Moroccan lanterns, the octagon-shaped ceremony arch, and the GORGEOUS harvest-colored florals. Denise did an amazing job, didn’t she!? The bridesmaids’ dresses were perfect fits for this theme, too, and all these women looked fierce 😉 And with the setting of the private estate venue, we were able to create a forest-looking background for the ceremony (a rare find on the central coast)!
Our two favorite moments of the day were when Christian couldn’t contain his tears as his bride walked down the aisle to meet him. All three of us working the wedding saw his reaction and WE started crying!! Later on, during the couple’s first dance, Anthea broke away from Christian to do her own little solo dance while he just watched and laughed! The guests all loved it because it was such a perfect representation of Anthea’s fun, fearless personality! All in all, it was a beautiful day that we feel so privileged to have been such a big part of. Cheers to the newlyweds!
