June 29th was a BIG day for Heart Melting Events….it was our first double header! While Julia was leading Megan & Leif’s Avila Beach wedding, Lacey was leading our Loma Grande Ranch wedding at the same time! Both weddings were absolutely spectacular. (Stay tuned for our post about Holly & Nathan’s!) With our highest guest count of the 2019 season–nearly 300 people–we had a lot of details to manage, but everything turned out beautifully! Megan and her girl squad spent the morning getting dolled up by Megan’s friends, who offered their services as wedding gifts to the bride. The florals were tropical, and the bright blue bridesmaid dresses accented the simple floral tones perfectly. And don’t even get us started on how ADORABLE their flower girls and ring bearers were!! Both the bride & groom shed a few tears during the “I Do’s” and all those present cheered with them as they walked down the aisle as husband and wife.
One of our favorite moments of the day were the bride & groom’s grand entrance because they used a Club Cannon fog machine gun!!! (Of course we’ve included photos below). Another highlight was the Mother/Son dance…Leif hugged his mother so tight while they both cried! Last but certainly not least, we got to join the guests on the dance floor when they played our song, “Cupid Shuffle!” Megan & Leif were such a kind, high-spirited couple to work with and we’re already counting down the days until they next visit SLO!
